Had dinner here this past week. Very busy on a weeknight. Clean, modern lighting fixtures and well ventilated buffet restaurant. Fresh raw meat for grilling and delicious cooked food in the hot buffet counter. Service staff are super helpful and friendly. Reasonably priced at Yelp $$ code. Will be back here again, soon.

I have not gorged on food like I did at Jin (or is it Bon?) KBBQ, in a very long time. We arrived at 4:30pm on Saturday and were seated right away. Only one person in our party had been here previously so they ran through the buffet bar options: one with cooked food, and one with raw meats and sides you can grab for the grill at your table. Additionally they have meat options you can order off menu. Off menu I ordered the pineapple galbi and my companions ordered chadogalbi and Korean hot wings. Pineapple galbi was the best bite off menu. The hot wings got okay marks, but my sister put hers on the grill because she said they were a little pink for her. For the raw food bar I loved the spicy pork and spicy chicken and the sausage was VERY good and tender. From the cooked bar I had multiple helpings of the glass noodles, beef bulgogi and kimchi fried rice. Just when I thought I was done I saw the case of ice cream, and grabbed a small sampling of vanilla ice cream to end the meal. By the time we were leaving the restaurant was packed with people. Great value for money for serious meat eaters ($27 all you can eat, or $19 for lunch) just come hungry. Service was great, and I love the light system when you need to get staffs attention. Staff would appear in literal seconds, and they changed our grates multiple times without us even having to ask. Great experience and we will be back.

Finding the place can be a challenge as the sign outside the plaza is Jin Korean with the Korean red and blue logo. l. But on the outside it is called Bon K BBQ with a different logo and my wife had to take a look at Yelp to make sure we got the right place. Inside, they have the Jin Korean BBQ logo so that needs to be updated. Anyways something that needs to be fixed as it might confuse people. Not so sure if they recently changed management. Alright now onto what you came to read on is the food. It is somewhat different than the other Korean BBQ buffet. This one had a good selection on bon chons. I enjoyed the coleslaw and regular salad. I really hope they had the white salad dressing, but ended up being ranch. They have different types of sauces. In the middle is the raw meat and at the other end is the hot food. I definitely loved the peanut fried chicken. Just remember to get it fresh as if it sits too long in the sauce the meat gets really dry and and soggy. They do have really great premium beef. We like the beef tongue the most. With those you will have to hit the light which gets the servers attention. They do come really quick and quite attentive. I enjoyed the dessert drink but you are limited to 2. The beef was really great. One thing good is the floors are not slippery compared to mana. I would say overall, the food was great and would recommend.

Super busy spot, complaint is the wait time and beeper. We got our little beeper device and were told it'd be around 40 minutes. We sat in the car in the parking lot for 30 minutes because it was packed inside. After that time, we went in and got the notification shortly. Then we were told that they rung our device twice already which was strange - they said no worries, just give them 2 minutes. Ten minutes later I check-in since it's been awfully long and they decide to seat us at a table that had been open for a while. I'm pretty sure they literally just forgot, which is annoying. Service was sweet. I love how each table gets a little light that they can flip on to ask for assistance, whether it's to order meat, get a grill change, or other. Quick and easy to do, we really need to step up our game in Washington. Besides that experience, everything was wonderful. My first time at Jin (or Bon) KBBQ was fantastic and showed me that our KBBQ in Seattle can be improved. Price is pretty cheap, but then again I'm comparing to Seattle. Lettuce costs an extra dollar to order, which is interesting. You'd think lettuce is the least of their concerns when there's a ton of meat. Anyway, what's cool about Jin is that there's a list of items you can order and then there's a "buffet" style section with other uncooked meats, sides, and hot foods. Uncooked meats include marinated bulgogi, cuts of pork (including pork belly), and tilapia. Sides include noodles, fried rice, and white rice. Hot foods included some beef stew and gyoza among other things. Pineapple Galbi Steak is a large piece of steak marinated well and topped with a slice of pineapple. I think it was one of my favorite items but I only ordered it at the end because I stuck to the basics. Highly recommend it. LA Galbi is probably a close second, galbi is always good but can be annoying to eat around the bones. Lastly, brisket is a KBBQ must have, so don't skip out on it. These three were the stars of the night. Dessert drink of shikeh (sweet ginger cinnamon punch) is a refreshing way to end the night if you aren't bloated already. Order it if you'd like to wrap up. It's definitely healthy-ish too. There's also ice cream that you can scoop yourself so overall you have options on how to enjoy your last bits of time here.
